Get to Know Pretty Sweet Floral School

At Pretty Sweet Floral, our mission is to teach  modern and sustainable approach to floral design o others. Our focus is on empowering beginners while offering courses and coaching options tailored for designers of all skill levels.

All courses are taught by floral designer Tina Sharpe, who has 20 years experience in the floral design world. She operated a successful flower shop in Waterloo Region for 17 years and recently sold it. With a never-ending passion for flowers & amazing floral design her focus is now on educating others.

I’m Tina — a floral designer with over 20 years of experience and a background in horticulture and landscape design.

In August 2024, I made the big (and tough!) decision to sell my sweet little flower shop in St. Jacobs, ON, which I owned for 17 wonderful years. After taking some time off to relax, travel, and reconnect with myself, I realized just how much I missed flowers — and especially my floral students. That journey brought me here, to Pretty Sweet Floral School!

I started teaching floral design and mentoring others back in 2011. It’s always been a true passion of mine and a part of my career that brings me so much joy. So it only made sense to continue doing what I love most.

My approach to floral design has always been about celebrating the gifts nature gives us — with a playful twist on colour palettes and a touch of whimsy.
